What is the 2020 Championship Cup? The Championship Cup is a 54 hole event created for the top point earners of the Season Series. Eligibility for this event is determined by the Season Series overall point standings and played at the end of the season in October. Each Pay4Golf18 participant must play in a minimum of 10 events to be eligible for the official overall standings.
The top 10 golfers in the season series overall points standings will earn a spot to play in the Championship Cup. If a player has earned a spot, but cannot attend, that spot will be offered to the next person in the standings until 10 players have committed. Registration fee for event will apply to participate in the Championship Cup.
Due to COVID-19, we will be opertaing the Championship Cup differently than in past years by staying local for this event. Participants will be divided into two teams. Total Team Scoring using different playing formats will be used to decide Championship Cup Teams. Rounds of golf, cart fee and range balls will be included with your registration. Registration fee and other fees will apply to participate in the event.

INCLUDES. Participants will receive 54 holes of golf, cart fee, range balls each day of the Championship Cup. Pay4Golf18 will provide beverages and appetizers at the end of each day of golf on the outside patio of The SkyTop Grill. Participants are responsible for food and beverage during rounds at their own expense.
FORMAT. Participants for each team will participate in 9 Holes of Two Man Team Best Ball, Two Man Team Scramble and Two Man Scotch Foursomes each day. Winning team will be determined by lowest NET team score.
Two Man Team Best Ball involves 2-person teams where each player on the team plays his own golf ball throughout the round. After each hole the player with the lowest score on the hole (or “best ball”) out of the 2-person team serves as the team's score. Teams will be given 80% of team total handicap.
Two Man Team Scramble invoices involves 2-person teams where each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot within one club length of the selected spot until completing the hole. Minimum of 3 drives per person on team must be used. Teams will be given 30% of team total handicap.
Two Man Scotch Foursomes involves 2-person teams where each player hits a drive off the tee. Partners select the best drive and whomever drive is not selected hits the second shot. Partners alternate shot until the completing the hole. Minimum of 3 drives per person on team must be used. Teams will be given 40% of team total handicap.
PRIZES. $20 each per player on the winning team. Two Man Team Closest To The Pin contest each 9 holes each day for $20 Golfballs.com Gift Certificate each participant.
Complete itinerary and rules of play with be provided to all participants before event.
